Stage 6 VGA Junior Tour 2025: Conquering the Challenge at PGA Silk Path Đông Triều
PGA Silk Path Đông Triều – a 27-hole golf course designed by legendary Sir Nick Faldo – officially becomes the next host venue for Stage 6 of the VGA Junior Tour 2025: Race to TaylorMade, taking place from November 8–9, 2025.
The tournament brings together 80 junior golfers from across Vietnam – outstanding young talents who are steadily proving their determination, ambition, and sportsmanship on their journey to conquer the future of Vietnamese golf.
A world-class course – where the challenge begins!
Although only officially opened in early 2025, PGA Silk Path Đông Triều – a 27-hole course designed by Sir Nick Faldo – has quickly been recognized as the “Best Premium Golf Course in Quảng Ninh, Vietnam” by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2025. With a Course Rating of 76.4 and a Slope Rating of 150, it is considered one of the most demanding tests of skill, even for experienced golfers.
The signature of PGA Silk Path Đông Triều lies in its undulating greens, long and wide fairways stretching through pine forests, and naturally preserved rugged terrain. Every shot here requires strategic thinking and absolute precision, promising highly competitive and dramatic moments for the young players at Stage 6 – VGA Junior Tour 2025: Race to TaylorMade.

Before the tournament, junior golfers will have the opportunity to practice at the PGA of America-standard Driving Range, featuring 23 real-grass bays and a dedicated short-game area – an ideal environment to warm up and sharpen skills ahead of official rounds.
About Stage 6 – VGA Junior Tour 2025: Race to TaylorMade
The tournament will take place as scheduled below:
The tournament is open to all amateur junior male and female golfers under the Rules of Amateur Status as defined by The R&A and USGA.
Players will be divided into age categories as follows:
▪️ U8–9 Boys & Girls
▪️ U11 Boys – U13 Boys – U15 Boys – U18 Boys
▪️ U11 Girls – U13 Girls – U18 Girls
Competition format:
▪️ Age groups U13 and above will compete in a 3-round stroke play format (18 holes per round, 54 holes total) with no cut.
▪️ Age groups under 13 will compete in a 2-round stroke play format (18 holes per round, 36 holes total). The U8–9 category will apply a maximum score per hole of Quadruple Bogey (+4 strokes per hole).
Prize structure:
▪️ Overall Champion: awarded to the player with the lowest gross score across all 54-hole categories. (1 award)
▪️ Category Champions: awarded to the lowest gross score in each age division. (1st, 2nd, 3rd place per category)
