Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between Silk Path Đông Triều and the PGA of America

On March 8, 2025, Silk Path Đông Triều Golf & Country Club marked a historic milestone by officially signing a strategic partnership with the PGA of America – the world’s leading professional golf association. This significant event took place in Quang Ninh, with the special presence of golf legend Sir Nick Faldo, a six-time major champion and one of the most renowned golf course designers in the world.

A strategic step to elevate Vietnamese golf to the international stage

The partnership between Silk Path Đông Triều, Everygolf, and the PGA of America marks an important transformation in the journey toward professionalizing golf in Vietnam. This event not only affirms our pioneering role in the industry but also represents a long-term strategy to standardize training, management, and tournament organization in line with international standards.

 

 

With the support of the PGA of America, Silk Path Đông Triều and Everygolf will jointly develop advanced training programs, enabling both young talents and professional athletes in Vietnam to access modern knowledge and skills. At the same time, Vietnamese golfers will have more opportunities to compete in prestigious junior systems such as the PGA Junior Tour and Junior PGA Championships, thereby expanding their pathway to the global stage.

Silk Path Đông Triều: An international-standard venue ready for world-class tournaments

At the signing ceremony, golf legend Sir Nick Faldo expressed his strong impression of Silk Path Đông Triều Golf Course – one of the most challenging courses in Southeast Asia and the world suitable for hosting major tournaments. He also emphasized the importance of developing junior tournament systems and expressed his desire to position Vietnam as a destination for Faldo Series events and other international competitions.

 

“I hope Vietnam will organize similar tournaments to further promote the growth of golf in Vietnam. Achievements in tournaments will help young golfers qualify for larger competitions in Southeast Asia and Asia…” – Sir Nick Faldo shared.

The first PGA Junior tournament in Vietnam will soon be launched

According to Mr. Nguyễn Thế Đại – External Relations Director of Silk Path Đông Triều Golf, we and the PGA of America are working together to develop the first PGA Junior Tour in Vietnam, designed for athletes aged 7 to 16. This will serve as a foundation for identifying and developing young talents, helping them advance within the PGA Junior system across Southeast Asia and Asia in the future.
