A new chapter of pride has opened: PGA Silk Path Đông Triều Golf – a 27-hole course designed by Faldo Design – is officially in operation and ready to welcome golfers seeking a unique experience amid the majestic nature of Quảng Ninh.

This project is part of Silk Path Group’s long-term vision to create a “golf paradise” in Vietnam – where world-class design meets the untouched beauty of the Đông Triều landscape.

The journey of creating a masterpiece in the Đông Triều landscape

From the earliest stages of development, the Faldo Design team faced numerous challenges – from complex terrain to the inability to conduct on-site surveys due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, every detail was carefully crafted to preserve the natural beauty of the land.

“We wanted to preserve as many ancient pine trees as possible – because they are beautiful, large, and cannot be replanted elsewhere.”

The harmony of hills, deep valleys, natural rock formations, large lakes, and centuries-old pine forests has created a course deeply shaped by its terrain – challenging yet captivating.

Flexible design – memorable experience for all levels of golfers

Since opening earlier this year, PGA Silk Path Đông Triều has received highly positive feedback from the golfing community. The most notable holes include:

▪️Hole 7: Par-4, uphill, right dogleg, with a large fairway bunker. A small mistake leads to a very difficult second shot.

▪️Hole 8: Par-5, left dogleg, requiring smart strategy to cross the dry creek and avoid large bunkers if attempting the green in two.

▪️Hole 15: Short Par-4 but high risk – water carry, uphill approach, with a fairway-crossing bunker.

▪️Hole 16: Long Par-4, double fairway, water carry into the green – a true test for all golfers.
